The Radiofrequency Method.
RF is a non-surgical lifting method, perhaps one of the most popular procedures in modern cosmetology.
Radiofrequency works with electromagnetic waves between 890 kHz to 2.7 MHz in the radio-waves spectrum.
During the RF lifting procedure, the skin tissue is exposed to high-frequency electromagnetic waves conducted directly into the skin tissues via a handpiece. This physical process creates a controlled electromagnetic field that converts high-frequency energy into heat.
As a result, the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin is heated. Since the fat cells are dielectric, electromagnetic wave oscillations target and heat water molecules in the skin. This action, in turn, causes the splitting of fat cells and contractions of collagen fibres, which become compressed and compacted like a spring making the skin elasticity improve.
Also, RF lifting treatment stimulates fibroblast cells, activates the production of collagen and elastin, and improves blood circulation and cell metabolism leading to long-lasting aesthetic results.
Due to the very high frequency, electromagnetic waves do not stimulate sensory or motor nerves, so the body quickly absorbs heat without discomfort or muscle contractions.
